Il "filtro" è però costituito da un reticolo di diffrazione che pertanto produce gli spettri di dell'oggetto inquadrato nei vari ordini, come caratteristica propria del reticolo di diffrazione. Bacci e F. Sole che si è&lt;br /&gt;verificata lo scorso 11  Luglio, in un contesto veramente molto suggestivo.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;La serata è  organizzata molto informalmente, per proporre immagini e filmati che  avranno come tema:&lt;br /&gt;- l'eclisse totale di sole che le condizioni meteo  favorevoli ci hanno consentito di osservare;&lt;br /&gt;- la visita agli  Osservatori Astronomici dell'ESO situati al Cerro Paranal in pieno  deserto di Atacama&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" Il sasso facente parte della fascia principale degli asterodi al momento della scoperta aveva una magnitudi di circa 19.4. E' stato possibile seguire il nuovo asteroide SOLO per due serate... a casua di una serie di problemi. &lt;br /&gt;Grazie al contributo dell'osservatorio J95 Great Shefford Observatory di &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Peter Birtwhistl&lt;/span&gt;e, J47 Observatorio Nazaret di &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Gustavo Muler&lt;/span&gt;, 104 San Marcello Pistoiese di &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Luciano Tesi&lt;/span&gt; e G96 Mt Mt. Lemmon con &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Andrea Boattin&lt;/span&gt;i, è stato possibile determinare gli elementi orbitali.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Il primo asteroide scoperto da Libbiano di Peccioli, a quanto ci risulta, &lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;è il primo asteroide scoperto in provincia di Pisa&lt;/span&gt;, terra natia di Galileo Galilei, proprio nell'anno della /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ebbene, dagli studi effettuati da un team di astrofili della &lt;a href="http://comete.uai.it/" target="news"&gt;Sezione Comete dell' UAI &lt;/a&gt;facenti parte del progetto &lt;a href="http://cara.uai.it/" taerget="news"&gt;CARA&lt;/a&gt;, al quale anche noi abbiamo aderito, è stato accertato che l'asteroide, di fatto, è una &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;cometa &lt;/span&gt;di tipo gioviana con un periodo di rivoluzione di 6.76 anni.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Il 30/09/2009, alle ore 16:53 UT, è stata pubblicala la circolare del Minor Planet Center  riportante style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;A&lt;/span&gt;stronomico di &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;L&lt;/span&gt;ibbiano avvenuta nei giorni 25-26-27 settembre, è stata un grande successo per i soci dell' Ass.ne Astrofili Alta Valdera. L'osservazione di &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Giove &lt;/span&gt;e della &lt;span style="font-weight:bold;"&gt;Luna &lt;/span&gt;utilizzando il telescopio costruito da nostro &lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;Enzo Rossi&lt;/span&gt;, copia similare all'originale di Galileo Galilei, nell'ambito della ricorrenza del 400° anniversario delle osservazioni del famoso scienziato toscano, ed in concomitanza con l'anno Internazionale dell'astronomia.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Più di 600 persone hanno visitato CAL, ed oltre all'osservazione visuale degli oggetti celesti, hanno potuto apprezzare la nostra mostra fotografica permanente; guida all'osservatorio astronomico "&lt;span style="font-style:italic;"&gt;G. Al termine di una bella serata pubblica, alla quale hanno partecipato numerose persone, alcuni soci dell' AAAV si sono trattenuti in osservatorio, per effettuare delle misure astrometriche. Tra gli oggetti di particolare interesse, le attenzioni sono cadute su un oggetto NEOCP, di magnitudine intono alla 20° e con un moto proprio di 11"/min. Un oggetto particolarmente difficile da riprendere.&lt;br /&gt;Le misure al momento pubblicare erano quelle dell'osservatorio G96 -Mt. E intorno l’Universo: un mese dedicato alle stelle”  che si svolgerà in Peccioli (PI) con il patrocinio e la collaborazione  del locale Comune.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt; &lt;p align="justify"&gt;      &lt;span style=";font-family:Courier New;font-size:85%;"  &gt;&lt;b&gt;Primo  avvincente appuntamento, l’apertura straordinaria del Centro Astronomico  di Libbiano il &lt;/b&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);font-size:130%;" &gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;25, 26 e 27&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:130%;"&gt;&lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt; settembre&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/span&gt;per osservare la Luna e Giove con  un &lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 153, 0);"&gt;cannocchiale identico&lt;/span&gt; a quello che Galileo Galilei utilizzò  proprio 400 anni fa (nel 1609 appunto) per osservare per la prima volta  il cielo con questo strumento. La replica del telescopio di Galileo  è stata realizzata con rara perizia da &lt;span style="color: rgb(51, 102, 255);"&gt;Enzo Rossi&lt;/span&gt; (Vicepresidente della  AAAV) che lo affiancherà agli strumenti da campo in dotazione al Centro  Astronomico di Libbiano: in questo modo il pubblico  intervenuto potrà osservare la Luna e Giove con entrambi gli strumenti,  potendo così paragonare la visione percepita  a suo tempo da Galileo con quella offerta oggi dagli strumenti più  moderni.  Il Centro Astronomico di Libbiano sarà  aperto al pubblico venerdì 25, sabato 26 e Domenica 27 settembre  dalle &lt;span style="color: rgb(255, 153, 0);"&gt;21.00 alle 23.30&lt;/span&gt; (&lt;span style="font-style: italic; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"&gt;Domenica 27 apertura per visite anche dalle  16.00 alle 19.00&lt;/span&gt;). Nel corso dell’evento saranno proposte anche lezioni  al Planetario, la visita dell’Osservatorio Astronomico e proiezioni  di immagini in tema.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;       &lt;span style=";font-family:Courier New;font-size:85%;"  &gt;&lt;b&gt;La  manifestazione di carattere astronomico proseguirà  con una mostra di fotografia astronomica e astrofilatelia (dal 15 al  18 ottobre) e con la conferenza “La vicenda umana e scientifica di  Galileo" (15 Ottobre, Prof. Alberto Righini)  presso il Centro Polivalente di Peccioli.  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--&gt; &lt;!--[endif]--&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;Dal Centro Astronomico di Libbiano sono state riprese delle immagini nelle quali è stata individuata la cometa. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;font-size:100%;" &gt;157P/Tritton&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;Scoperta l’ 11/02/1978 da Keith Tritton, utilizzando un telescopio Schmidt da 122 cm,&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=";font-size:100%;" &gt;  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;risulto che l’oggetto aveva un periodo di rivoluzione intorno al sole di circa 6.1 anni, e fu designata con la sigla D/1978 C2. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;Ai successivi previsti passaggi del 1984,1990 e 1996, la cometa non fu osservata.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;Nel&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=";font-size:100%;" &gt;  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;2003 la cometa fu nuovamente osservata da vari osservatori tra cui alcuni italiani, che ne seguirono l’evoluzione fino ad ottobre dello stesso anno.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--&gt; &lt;!--[endif]--&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;Sei anni dopo, quando la cometa si trovava a circa 2.3 UA (345.000.000 Km) dal sole, veniva da noi ritrovata.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--&gt; &lt;!--[endif]--&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;&lt;o:p&gt;&lt;/o:p&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;  &lt;span style=";font-family:&amp;quot;;font-size:12;"  &gt;&lt;span style="font-size:100%;"&gt;La sera del 19/0/2009 veniva nuovamente ripresa, confermando di fatto che l’oggetto ripreso era appunto la cometa 157P/Tritton.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Lavoro svolto da Paolo Bacci, Emilio Rossi, Francesco Biasci&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.astrofilialtavaldera.it/imgac/157P_B-2.jpg"&gt;&lt;img style="cursor: pointer; Franco Pacini e del Sindaco del Comune di Peccioli Silvano Grecchi.&lt;br /&gt;   &lt;br /&gt;E' composto da due distinte strutture:&lt;br /&gt;   &lt;br /&gt;Il &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Centro Diotattico (ex scuola)&lt;/span&gt;, ove si trova la &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Sala Conferenze&lt;/span&gt;, con 50 posti a sedere, provvista di videoproiettore, visore di lucidi e diapositive.&lt;br /&gt;All'ingresso si trova la&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt; Mostra permanente&lt;/span&gt; costituita da pannelli nei quali vengono riprodotte le immagini riprese dai soci dell'AAAV.&lt;br /&gt;All'interno di un locale è installato il &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;planetario&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;   &lt;br /&gt;     &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;L'Osservatorio " GALILEO GALILEI"&lt;br /&gt;     &lt;/span&gt;che ospita il i due telescopi principali:&lt;br /&gt;     &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Ritchey-Chretien 500&lt;/span&gt; mm di diametro con focale a F8&lt;br /&gt;     &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Rifrattrore&lt;/span&gt; apocromatico da 180 mm&lt;br /&gt;   &lt;br /&gt;   &lt;br /&gt;   &lt;br /&gt;     &lt;/td&gt;     &lt;/tr&gt;     &lt;tr&gt;       &lt;td style="vertical-align: top;"&gt;&lt;img src="http://www.astrofilialtavaldera.com/obs/img/mostra01.gif" alt="" border="0" height="267" width="401" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;     &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Mostra Permanete&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;     &lt;/td&gt;  &lt;/tr&gt;&lt;tr&gt;     &lt;td style="vertical-align: top;"&gt;L'osservatorio è gestito dall' &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Associazione Astrofili Alta Valdera&lt;/span&gt; -( AAAV) di Peccioli, presieduta da &lt;a href="mailto:presidente@astrofilialtavaldera.com"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Alberto Villa&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;   &lt;br /&gt;Il principale scopo dell'associzione e' la divulgazione delle scienze astronomiche.&lt;br /&gt;All'uopo sono pogrammate&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt; riunioni pubbliche&lt;/span&gt;, con scadenza quindicinale, nelle quali si approfondiscono argomenti di natura astronomica.&lt;br /&gt;(per visualizzare il calendario delle riunioni &lt;a href="http://www.astrofilialtavaldera.com/riunioni/riunioni0705.html"&gt;clicca qui&lt;/a&gt;)&lt;br /&gt;   &lt;br /&gt;Vengono organizzate, secondo un preciso calendario, serate &lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;osservative pubbliche&lt;/span&gt;, nelle quali si ha la possibilità di scrutare il cielo con gli strumenti messi a disposizione.
